English Country House Sofa

English country house sofa, probably estate made with unusual plank construction to the back, which we love.  Hand cut nails to hold the planks to the frame.  Upholstered in scrim with sprung seat and squab cushion.  Can be left as is or fully upholstered.  Circa 1840-60
