Footstool No 5

Bobbin furniture originated in 17th Century in Northern Europe. Sewing bobbins from factories, were utilized by furniture makers to make chairs, tables etc. Recently there has been a growing resurgence in the popularity of this style. Our bobbin legs can be natural oak, ebonised or fumed. Our footstools have been inspired by the numerous pieces of bobbin furniture we have sold over the years.

As with most of our footstools they can be made to any size you would like with any leg to suit your requirements. Most of our footstools are finished in either hessian or scrim, showing the hand stitching and finished with tacks. This gives the option of showing the craftsmanship and leaving as they are. Or alternatively a top cover can be added, and we are more than happy to help with the upholstery detailing.

As with all out footstools they can be made to any size you would like with any leg to suit your requirements.
