Footstool No 1

Our footstool No 1 in oak, with hard turned stacked bobbin legs and stretchers, standing on brass cup castors. The inspiration for this footstool was taken from a tightly turned bobbin Regency stool, which Claire has hung onto for years.   This has fast become one of our favourites.

The upholstery can be tacked off as shown, along the top of the frame, or brought down to the underside of the frame.  A feather pad or squab cushion can be added.  

As with most of our footstools they can be made to any size you would like with any leg to suit your requirements.  Most of our footstools are finished in either hessian or scrim, showing the hand stitching and finished with tacks.  This gives the option of showing the craftsmanship and leaving as they are.  Or alternatively a top cover can be added, and we are more than happy to help with the upholstery detailing.
